George

Overview

George (2013, Antonio Citterio) is, in B&B Italia's words, a comfortable seating range designed for the contract sector, with a higher formal seat height. The range consists of two-seater and three-seater sofas and an armchair in two sizes, all with fabric or leather covers.

Construction

• Frame inside: steel tubes and profiles, covered with a polyester-fibre wrap over flexible, cold-shaped polyurethane foam
• Cushions: shaped polyurethane of different densities and polyester fibre, with a polyester-fibre and cotton cover
• Ferrules: thermoplastic
• Support frame: die-cast aluminium with extrusions; the feet raise it 10 cm (3 7/8 in) from the ground
