Story
A breakthrough in moulded plywood
Fredericia calls the Gallery stool a major design breakthrough at its launch in 1998. Its simplicity is striking, and moulded plywood is taken as far as the material allows to make a sculptural seating object.
Developed with Fredericia
Hans Sandgren Jakobsen's design breakthrough came in 1998 with this highly awarded stool, which he developed in collaboration with Fredericia. Pushing moulded plywood to its limit produced a construction that is both sculptural and functional.
