Description

Overview

Formiche (Ants in English) is a group of small tables designed by Piero Lissoni in 2017. Lightness and simplicity distinguish them. The slender support frame, which refers to the name, picks up the theme of the feet in the sofa system through its shape and finish.

Construction

A rounded support of painted steel is connected by a crosspiece to carry the tops, which are round, oval or kidney-bean shaped. The tops are glass or porcelain stoneware with a fine thickness of 8 mm; some models have an aluminium sheet tray. Ferrules are plastic material and the support frame is drawn steel.

Specifications

Various shapes and heights make it possible to compose different support systems.
