Story
A clear contrast
Michael Anastassiades conceived Flutz as an oxymoron, an austere metal structure holding a soft seat. Cassina points to the elegant, flawless movements of figure skating as the inspiration, and to a contrast of materials and thicknesses as the form.
Two new versions
The Flutz chair is now available in two versions without armrests, which differ in the height of the backrest. Two thin parallel aluminium sheets rise up as a rigid support around the seat, and the parts are designed for disassembly and recycling with Cassina LAB.
