Overview
The Florence Knoll Relaxed Benches are the Florence Knoll bench in a softer, lower version, dated 1954 by Knoll. Knoll says they can be used as a bench, an ottoman or a coffee table.
Construction
- Tufted seat cushion with matched piping and polyester fiber filling
- Solid wood inner frame; chrome-plated heavy-gauge steel base
- Nylon floor glides; cushion permanently attached

Story
A lower horizon
Knoll's page says the original bench was updated with a lower horizon to suit today's more casual lifestyle, and that the Relaxed Benches bring a softer sit and new sizes to the Florence Knoll Collection.
