Flat.C Frame

Overview

Flat.C Frame is Antonio Citterio's 2025 development of Flat.C into a self-supporting system. Extruded-aluminium uprights permit wall-mounted, floor-to-ceiling and freestanding room-divider configurations.

Construction

The structure uses aluminium extrusions with MDF shelves and storage frames. The sheet lists soft-closing drawers with metal sides, toughened-glass shelves and a 24V DC, 3000K LED system. Shelves are adjustable, and wall installations may include boiserie panels.

From wall system to room divider

B&B Italia presents Flat.C Frame as an architectural expansion of the 2008 Flat.C system. Its load-bearing uprights move the design beyond conventional wall mounting and allow ceiling-mounted or central configurations.

Vertical adjustment and storage options

The published wall-mounted range extends from 2197 to 3061 mm, with custom heights up to 4175 mm. Storage choices include hinged-door cabinets, single and double drawers and flap-door cabinets. New finish options named by the manufacturer include light oak, etimoé and chrome-finished aluminium profiles.
