Overview
On Moroso's site the Fjord ottoman sits in the Ottomans group, byline "by Patricia Urquiola, 2002". The 2025 sheet draws it as a pouf in three sizes: small (214), medium (017) and large (077), the three codes that the page quotes for the base.
Construction
Moroso gives injected flame-retardant foam for the body and a base that is thermoformed shock-absorbent black plastic. The data sheet words it as cold injected polyurethane with an impact-resistant plastic base.
Specifications
- Small (214): 44, 50 and 33 cm (axes not labelled on the drawing)
- Medium (017): 75, 55 and 35 cm (axes not labelled on the drawing)
- Large (077): 110, 75 and 38 cm (axes not labelled on the drawing)
Story
Credit and year
The line on Moroso's ottoman page reads Patricia Urquiola, 2002, which matches the header of the Fjord data sheet.
One base code per size
The page text closes with a single code string, 214-017-077, for the shock-absorbent black plastic base, and the data sheet gives the same three numbers to the small, medium and large foot stools. The small one is printed with 44, 50 and 33 cm (axes not labelled on the drawing).
