Overview
Made for a 170 x 200 cm mattress, the Ferdinandea bed with storage is credited to the Style & Design Centre of Poltrona Frau. Its padded frame is covered in Pelle Frau® leather with tone-on-tone stitching, and a large storage compartment sits under the bed base. The SKU is 5686474, and a boiserie is shown with it.
Construction
- Frame: sides and footboard in poplar plywood under a light layer of polyurethane foam
- Feet: cylinders of black painted metal
- Compartment shelf: covered with ecru linen-effect melamine
- Access: two leather handles on the footboard operate a gas-spring mechanism that raises the bed base in a single movement to a tilted position
- Steel parts: crossbar, feet and corner plates in sheet steel coated white, with felt pads

A bed that opens onto a storage compartment
A large storage unit is built into this Ferdinandea version. The compartment is reached from the footboard: two leather handles lift the bed base in one movement to a tilted position.

The sides and the footboard are poplar plywood under a light layer of polyurethane foam, finished in Pelle Frau® leather with stitching of a matching tone. The feet are cylinders of black painted metal.
