Overview
Flexform dates Everett Outdoor, Antonio Citterio's outdoor seating system, to 2026. The manufacturer says it keeps its precise, recognisable graphic language in the outdoor version as well.
Construction
The base pairs powder-coated stainless steel with a compact laminated panel, and the backrest is stainless steel wrapped in woven polypropylene cord. Seat cushions use variable-density polyurethane foam with polyester fibre; bolster cushions use polyurethane foam; the cover is a water-repellent laminated fabric.
Specifications
- Code 02F6A3 Sofa: 210 x 97 x 82 cm
Story
Woven cord around a steel structure
Flexform names the woven polypropylene cord that wraps the steel structure as the design's distinctive feature. The weave is denser at the base and opens gradually toward the top, a visual filter that lets air and light pass while offering protection and intimacy.
Architectural clarity, enveloping comfort
The single seat cushion is generously padded and defined by softly bevelled edges. Flexform sums the design up as a balance of architectural clarity and enveloping comfort.
