Erica

Overview

Erica is the 2025 outdoor sofa series by Antonio Citterio for B&B Italia. It offers linear sofas in different sizes and depths, slightly curved sofas, a curved dormeuse, a day bed with a high back and integrated headrest, and a hemicycle sofa made of two curved elements.

Construction

• Frame: powder-painted (polyester) die-cast aluminium and extrusions
• Interlacing: polypropylene fibre braid
• Back upholstery: polyester fibre recycled from PET
• Seat upholstery: shaped polyurethane and PET-recycled polyester fibre
• Seat webbing: polypropylene fibre combined with synthetic rubber threads

The Erica series

Curves and a hemicycle

Sofas with a slightly curved design are offered for dynamic and convivial outdoor seating. The sheet adds a hemicycle sofa created by joining two curved elements, described as promoting sociability and conviviality through its embracing form.
