Overview
The Emmi Cord Outdoor armchair was designed by Hannes Peer for Minotti. Woven cord of matching colour wraps its slender tubular metal frame, which carries soft seat and back cushions.

Construction
- Frame: tubular stainless steel, matt varnish in Ecru, Dark Brown or Bronze
- Seat and backrest: polypropylene cord, 8 mm in diameter, woven in the Taslan manner (air-jet weaving and texturization)
- Cushions: padded with polyurethane foam (resilient, variable in density) and viscose fibre, with a polyester cover that repels water
- Stainless-steel tips varnished to match the frame, with adjustable polyethylene glides

Story
From indoor design to the outdoor armchair
Hannes Peer designed Emmi for indoor spaces. Its outdoor adaptation yields an armchair that evokes the elegant aesthetic of 1970s outdoor furnishing pieces, with generous and inviting shapes.
Cord matched to the frame
Each of the three frame colours has one cord colour assigned to it. A zipper links the seat and back cushions, which are fastened to the structure with teak frog closures.
