Emmi Cord Outdoor Bench

Overview

Emmi "Cord" Outdoor bench is a minimalist, rectangular outdoor seat designed by Hannes Peer for Minotti, taking its cue from the Emmi armchair for indoor use. It stands on two natural teak legs with rounded edges.

Construction

• Frame: stainless steel, 10 mm thick, and tubular stainless steel of Ø 16 mm, with an exterior-grade polyester powder-coat finish in polished Bronze
• Cord: woven Taslan polypropylene cord of Ø 8 mm covering the tubular frame, in Sand or Dark Brown
• Cushion: resilient polyurethane foam built in several densities, plus viscose fibre; the polyester cover repels water and comes off entirely, and teak frogs hold the cushion to the frame
• Legs: natural-finish solid teak (First European Quality) with an internal aluminium reinforcement; aluminium feet in glossy Bronze with an anti-touch finish and black ribbed rubber glides

The Emmi Cord Outdoor bench takes its cue from the design of the Emmi armchair for indoor use. Hannes Peer shaped it as an elegant, minimalist rectangular seat that stands on two natural teak legs with rounded edges.

Rope over steel, padding on top

Soft padding rests on a stainless steel frame covered with woven rope in Sand or Dark Brown, which gives the bench a natural touch. The result is a design that matches the furnishing pieces of the outdoor collection and combines functionality and comfort.
