Description
Overview
Emmi Cord Outdoor, designed by Hannes Peer for Minotti, is an outdoor sofa with generous, inviting shapes. A slender tubular metal frame covered with woven cord supports the soft seat and back cushions.
Construction
The frame is tubular stainless steel varnished matt, and the seat and backrest are woven in 8 mm Ø Taslan polypropylene cord. The cushions are high-resilience, variable-density polyurethane foam and viscose fibre in a water-repellent polyester cover that is completely removable. The sofa rests on stainless-steel tips with adjustable polyethylene glides.

Story
From indoor design to open-air living
Hannes Peer designed Emmi for indoor spaces. The Cord Outdoor version adapts it for open-air living, giving rise to an armchair and a sofa with generous, inviting shapes.
A continuous line of cord
The slender tubular metal frame is covered with woven cord in the same colour as the structure. Its base has a sinuous silhouette that draws a continuous line between seat and backrest, which gives the piece a sophisticated visual lightness.
