Description

Overview

Eliseo dining armchair is Antonio Citterio's 2022 table-height version of the seating design. A rigid and flexible polyurethane double shell surrounds a removable goose-down seat cushion; the chair can stand on a wood base or a four-spoke swivel base.

Construction

The shell cover is fixed. Fabric or leather can be removed from the separate seat cushion, whose goose down surrounds a crushproof insert. Stationary bases use walnut, ash or oak; the returning swivel base is cast aluminium.

Story

Dining scale and two base types

The dining version keeps the enveloping shell. Separate codes distinguish Canaletto-walnut or oak, ash, and a four-spoke swivel support.

Separate shell and seat covers

Flexform specifies two different upholstery behaviours: the double shell remains fixed, while the seat cushion cover lifts off in both fabric and leather versions. The swivel base incorporates a return movement.
