Eliseo Armchair

Overview

Eliseo armchair, designed by Antonio Citterio in 2022. Flexform presents Eliseo as a family of seating pieces in three versions: club armchair, wingback bergère and dining chair. The armchair has a double-shell structure, a goose-down seat cushion and a choice of wood or swivel base.

Construction

Double shell in rigid moulded polyurethane and flexible foam; goose-down seat cushion with a crushproof insert; stationary base in walnut, ash or oak, or a 360-degree swivel base in cast aluminium with four or five spokes.

E as in elegance, ergonomics and proportions

Flexform's page introduces Eliseo through three Es. The first is elegance, linked to the restraint and understatement of the Flexform identity; the second is ergonomics, linked to enveloping lines and soft padding that combine form and function; the third is evenly balanced proportions, which the page says remain intact across the club armchair, the wingback bergère and the dining chair.
