EJ220 Sofa

Overview

The EJ220 Sofa, Model 2033 (3 seater, 212 cm), is a sofa by Erik Jørgensen, and the product sheet gives the design year as 1970. Fredericia calls the original EJ220 a Danish design classic, admired for timeless elegance and effortless comfort, and describes the sofa line it belongs to as the archetype of the classic Danish sofa. Construction

Separate seat and back cushions rest on a wooden inner frame fitted with nozag springs. The sheet describes the cushions as a foam core, either HR or CMHR foam, with a down wrap, and says fabric cushions are reversible. The external cover is non-removable as standard or can be ordered removable, and the cushion covers are removable. Legs are interchangeable in solid wood or steel.

Fixed or removable covers

For this model Fredericia offers fabric covers fixed or removable, which the sheet describes as a non-removable external cover as standard and a removable one as an option. The cushion covers themselves are removable, and the sheet notes that cushions in fabric can be turned over.
