Overview
The 2004 Eileen writing desk by Antonio Citterio combines a curved top with drawers and a drawn-steel structure. B&B Italia offers two widths and versions with or without a cable opening.
Materials
The top is veneered multi-layered wood panel or thick leather. Drawn steel forms the support; drawer parts combine wood-particle panel and veneered solid wood. The cable-flap lid is stainless-steel sheet.
SE134
The wider code is W 134 × D 46 × H 72 cm.
Story
A desk-specific Eileen design
Unlike the dining table, small tables and console, the writing-desk page centres on working storage. The drawers sit beneath one end of the curved surface.
Cable-opening versions
Official drawings distinguish SE110 and SE134 from SE110_P and SE134_P. The suffix identifies the plan with a cable opening; the overall size remains tied to the corresponding width.
