Story
Cowhide and clean lines
Flexform's page introduces Eden as an elegant sofa bed with clean lines and masterful craftsmanship, enhanced by cowhide, a material it says is singularly able to give any object tangible added value, impervious to the effects of time and fleeting fashions.
Back, arms and base
The seat back and armrests are wood clad entirely in cowhide, with substantial bolsters padded with polyurethane and Dacron and soft goose-down-filled cushions. A slipcover in an easy-to-remove lightweight fabric covers the base, and kick pleats at the corners add what the page calls a layer of sophistication.
