Description
Overview
The Eddy chaise longue is a 2019 outdoor piece credited to Design Center, shown under Daybeds in Flexform's outdoor range. Its visual lightness comes from a woven structure that contrasts with generously padded seat and backrest cushions.
Construction
The structure is 316 austenitic stainless steel clad entirely in hand-woven polypropylene fibre, above a base that combines 316 stainless steel and compact laminated panel. Polyurethane foam makes the seat cushion; the backrest cushion adds polyester fibre to polyurethane foam. Upholstery fabric comes off.

Story
A woven structure with padded cushions
The hallmark of the Eddy chaise longue is an airy stainless-steel structure clad entirely in hand-woven polypropylene fibre, offered in a palette of colours. Against it, the seat and backrest cushions are generously padded.
Made for outdoor use
Each upholstered element has a lining of breathable water-repellent fabric. The collection of outdoor fabrics is described as resistant to weather, sun, chlorine and salt water.
