Description

Overview

nendo designed the Easel cabinets around an upturned V that turns a structural support into a strong decorative feature. This dining sideboard has a Moka-coloured ash structure on glossy Pewter aluminium supports and carries a bevelled marble top.

Construction

The structure is MDF with open-pore ash veneer in Moka lacquer, on a structural metal frame in matt Black. The supports, which include the handles and legs, are polished Pewter aluminium. The top is 16 mm marble, bevelled, on an aluminium honeycomb panel.

Specifications

  • Dimensions: 240 x 53 x 63 cm
  • Frame: ash veneer on MDF, Moka lacquer
  • Supports, handles and legs: aluminium, polished Pewter
  • Top: Calacatta or Stone Grey marble, 16 mm

Story

An upturned V

An upturned V, which turns from a structural support element into a strong decorative feature, characterises the Easel cabinets. The frame is Moka-coloured ash, and the supports are glossy Pewter-coloured aluminium.

What looks like one front

The element of surprise that distinguishes the design of nendo is back. A front that reads as one piece opens through doors or drawers cut on a slope, matching the V.
