Description
Overview
Drop Box is the large portable caddy in Konstantin Grcic's Vitra family, designed in 2022. Its two storage levels can hold work materials and many other everyday objects, while an aluminium top tube provides the carrying handle.

Construction
Recycled-plastic side panels are joined by aluminium tubes. Textile panels with welded seams form the upper and lower compartments, and the product can be dismantled. An optional Drop Box Tray Set clicks into two different positions for smaller items.
Specifications
The caddy measures 400 × 270 × 550 mm. The separate tray is shown at 220 × 170 mm in the official drawing.
Story
A larger portable organiser
Drop Box expands Grcic's portable-caddy idea vertically. Two compartment levels separate groups of objects while leaving the upper rail free as a handle, and the optional trays add smaller removable storage within the open structure.
Beyond one work routine
Vitra presents the 2022 design for work utensils as well as storage throughout domestic and waiting settings. Drop Box therefore broadens the use of the compact Locker Box family without changing its basic language of side panels, tubes and suspended textile pockets.
