Description
Overview
Evangelos Vasileiou's Drapper is a rechargeable outdoor table lamp with a matt clear-lacquered solid-teak base. Its stem and shade are brushed aluminium under clear satin varnish, and a PMMA diffuser covers the light source.
Light and battery
An interchangeable 4 W LED module provides 520 lumens at 3000 K warm white. A manual dimmer sits on the teak base. Charging takes 5–6 hours through the supplied USB cable and provides 4 hours of use.
Outdoor rating and dimensions
Drapper is rated IP44. The lamp measures 230 mm in diameter and 250 mm high, with a listed weight of 1.5 kg.
Story
Metal over solid teak
A circular teak base supports the slender aluminium stem and shallow disc shade. Clear finishes retain the stated materials while the PMMA diffuser sits beneath the upper metal element.
Cord-free outdoor use
The rechargeable module removes the need for a power lead during its four-hour operating period. Brightness is adjusted directly from the base.
