Description
Overview
Dôt is Rémi Bouhaniche's portable outdoor light for Ligne Roset. A softly tapered white lantern body sits on an oiled ash base, with a tall black steel hook acting as both handle and hanging point.
Materials and protection
The 230 mm-high light body is white sanded rotomoulded polyethylene. The bent 10 mm solid-steel handle is electro-galvanized and finished in satin black epoxy paint for outdoor use. A 5 m black neoprene cable carries an outdoor manual switch, and the fitting is rated IP55.
French-market light source and size
The French configuration is supplied with one 10 W E27 LED bulb at 4,000 K and 820 lumens. Overall dimensions are 220 mm in diameter and 390 mm high, with a weight of 2.5 kg.
Story
A lantern with a hook
Dôt pairs a compact glowing body with an oversized curved handle. The black steel hook rises above the white polyethylene diffuser, while a small oiled ash base introduces natural material at floor or table level.
Outdoor electrical specification
The handle receives electro-galvanizing and satin black epoxy paint, and the cable is black neoprene. The French configuration carries an IP55 rating and an outdoor-quality manual switch. The Canadian configuration uses an E26 lamp holder instead, so its regional electrical detail is not mixed into this representative variant.
