Diesis in armchair form
B&B Italia added an armchair to the Diesis collection in 2025. The new format retains an exposed, orthogonal support structure while concentrating the upholstered seat and back within a compact single-seat composition.
Frame and cushions
Steel sheet and steel profiles form the frame beneath shaped polyurethane wrapped in leather. The seat combines different-density polyurethane, viscoelastic memory foam, sterilised down and polyester fibre. The base structure joins cast aluminium components to steel tubing.
DG106 / DK106 dimensions
The shared drawing labels 106 × 90 × 80 cm, with a 44 cm seat height.
Story
Expansion of an existing design language
Antonio Citterio and Paolo Nava's Diesis collection gained this armchair in 2025. B&B Italia describes the addition as extending the collection's architectural presence rather than introducing a separate visual system.
Tactility within an orthogonal frame
The manufacturer identifies a contrast between the tectonic structure and tactile materials. A shaped, leather-covered frame supports layered cushioning that includes polyurethane, memory foam and down.
