Dafne Outdoor Chair

Overview

Dafne is a dining chair credited to Flexform's Design center and dated 2019. Its clean design recalls the archetype of the chair, with pure, uncluttered lines and a conscious rejection of the superfluous.

Construction

Solid wood runs through the whole frame, and the technical block names it as iroko, finished natural, grey-stained, white-lacquered or brown-stained. For the woven seat and backrest the cord can be PVC over a nylon core, polypropylene, or matt polypropylene.

Archetype of the chair

Wood and weave

Every part of the frame is solid wood in a choice of finishes, and the seat and backrest are woven. Three cord types are offered in sixteen colors, a palette that ranges from earth tones to bordeaux and olive green.
