Crinoline dates to 2008 and is by Patricia Urquiola. The manufacturer describes chairs and stools characterised by a sophisticated polyethylene fibre interlacing with a surprisingly natural texture.

The C2PF drawing prints 66, 58 and 81 cm (axes not labelled on the drawing), with 64 cm and 49 cm figures beside the side view.

Two versions

The chairs come with a woven backrest, a bright stainless steel base and a fabric-upholstered seat, or with an aluminium frame supporting the curved seat and back. The base frame is stainless steel or polyester-powder-painted aluminium, with thermoplastic ferrules.

An interwoven double shell

The second version has an aluminium frame supporting the curved seat and back, as if to create an entirely interwoven double shell silhouette.
