Description
Overview
The Compile Shelving System by Cecilie Manz for Muuto has a simple and refined expression, with clean lines in a solid construction. The lower wall on the back of each shelf gives it an understated sense of detailing along with added functionality. Configuration 1 in Grey (COMCFG0102) is 67.5 cm high.
Construction
The shelves are made from laser cut steel sheets, bent to form and coated with powder coating, which gives a matt, abrasion-resistant and fingerprint-insensitive surface.

Story
One shelf, one building unit
Muuto describes the logic of the Compile Shelving System as one shelf representing one building unit, while the length of the tube defines the shelf height. Muuto adds that this logical construction parallels, to a certain degree, an unpretentious Scandinavian lifestyle.
