Code Sideboard

Overview

Code is a collection of sideboards that completes the Poliform living room system of the same name. The units are configured with open compartments, drawers, and hinged or drop-leaf doors, in a wide choice of finishes.

Construction

The structure is a panel of wooden particles in melamine with a veneered, lacquered or marble top. The base is painted aluminium, with height-adjustable feet or a plinth with leveller. Doors are veneered or lacquered particle board, glass in a painted aluminium frame, or Tape doors in painted aluminium and glass.

The technical details of the Code sideboards credit the design to R&D Poliform, 2019 – 2023, the in-house team rather than a named designer. The system catalogue says the sideboards complete the Code living room system.

Made to be configured

The catalogue describes the sideboards as freely configured, choosing between open compartments, showcases, drawers, hinged or flap doors. The finish list can be customised down to the single component, and the glass-door sideboard can take different finishes for back and structure.
