Code Day System

Overview

Code is a modular system of floorstanding and hanging storage units, wall panelling, shelves, bookcases and TV portals. It is designed for the living room and extends to the bedroom, where it can sit beside wardrobes and walk-in closets.

Construction

The structure is melamine-faced, veneered or lacquered wood particle board, with backs in melamine-faced particle board that is veneered, lacquered or fabric-covered. Doors are particle board or glass with a painted aluminium profile, and metal parts are painted in mat ardesia or champagne.

R&D Poliform

The Code catalogue credits the day system to R&D Poliform, the company's in-house team rather than a named designer. It presents Code as a system that moves between rooms, with boiserie, suspended storage units and shelves used on their own or beside wardrobes and walk-in closets.

Finishes down to the component

Poliform says the variety of finishes can be customised down to the individual component, with separate finish lists for doors, exterior and interior structure, backs, tops and metal parts.
