The Co Bar Chair sets a wide veneer back and generous seat on a slender tubular-steel frame. An integrated footrest supports the elevated position, while the veneer and upholstery versions allow different surface treatments.

Stackable proportions

Audo states that as many as four chairs can be stacked. The bar version measures 104.5 cm high, 50.9 cm wide and 49.7 cm deep, with a seat height of 75.5 cm. A separate counter-height version is also offered.

Story

Two heights within the Co family

The official page presents counter and bar versions as a way to match different surfaces. Both retain the collection's contoured back and restrained steel geometry, adding a footrest appropriate to elevated seating. Norm Architects and Els Van Hoorebeeck are credited for a design intended to balance comfort, stability and straightforward storage between repeated uses.
