Cloud Bookshelf

Overview

Cloud is a modular double-face bookshelf designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for Cappellini in 2004. Cappellini describes its hollow compartments as an extravagant furnishing element with a pop flair. The modules can be interconnected as desired with a retracting joint.

Construction

Each module is made of linear polyethylene using rotational moulding, in finish 892 white. Pressure clips in metal with a matt white epoxy powder coating join the modules. The product sheet describes the resulting system as offering an infinite possibility of compositions.
