Overview
The Clampy portable light is a Ligne Roset design by e27, Tim Brauns, made of solid varnished natural ash wood.
Construction and lighting
A metal clip is attached magnetically to the cap of the light, so that it can hook onto the cable. Two hooks are supplied, to attach the cable to the wall or ceiling. The light may also stand vertically on a shelf to provide indirect lighting. The cable is black textile, 4.20 m long, and the black manual switch sits 80 cm from the plug. It is supplied with one 5 W GU10 full glass dichroic bulb, rated 400 lumens, with a 32° diffusion angle and 2,700 K warm white light.

Story
A light that hooks onto its cable
Clampy is made of solid varnished natural ash. The metal clip held magnetically on its cap hooks onto the cable, and the two supplied hooks fix the cable to a wall or a ceiling.
Placed on a shelf for indirect light
The portable light can also be located vertically on a shelf, which gives indirect lighting within a room. Its black textile cable is 4.20 m long.
