Construction
The structure is partly black epoxy lacquered steel and partly brushed nickel finish, grain 230. The diffuser is transparent PMMA with an antistatic treatment to prevent dust settling. The lamp has a black hand dimmer switch and a black textile cable. Three LED modules of 2.3 W each give 6.9 W in total and 890 lumens, and the light is 2700 K (warm white).
Specifications
Overall size: 290 x 285 x 380 mm (W x D x H). Weight: 2.8 kg. Total consumption, LED modules plus power supply: 8 W.
Story
The emerald lamp as a reference
Cilari takes its inspiration from the famous emerald lamp, a reading lamp dating from 1849. Known as the banker's or library lamp, it was considered a symbol of wealth and prosperity.
Lighting that does not impose
Rather than imposing itself on its surroundings, Cilari is a serene piece of lighting that contributes to the general atmosphere in a balanced composition. The cylindrical diffuser is what distinguishes it.
