Overview
Charlotte (2015, Antonio Citterio) is a chair that B&B Italia frames as a tribute to lightness: a fully covered shell whose frame profile stays visible along the side of the chair and so traces the line of the seat.

- Shell upholstery: flexible cold-shaped polyurethane foam
- Legs: magnesium alloy casting
- Ferrules: plastic material, with additional felt and plastic ferrules
- Cover: thick leather

Story
Lightness as the starting point
The page gives the chair one idea: lightness. The shell is wrapped completely, yet the frame is allowed to show on the side, where it picks out the edge of the seat.
Leather and frame finishes
The longer text on the page says the cover is raw cut full grain leather in different colours, and that the frame comes in a series of finishes that either emphasise it or let it blend in.
