Description
Overview
The CH825 is a credenza that Hans J. Wegner designed in 1959. Carl Hansen & Søn relaunched it in 2014, on the 100th anniversary of Wegner's birth.
Construction
- Doors: two roller shutter doors that slide to one side behind the interior backing; closed, they form a continuous veneer surface with vertical grain
- Grip: an upright piece of wood fixed to the solid front edge of the door through a thin steel plate
- Interior: three compartments, the outer two with two shelves each, the middle with four pull-out trays; shelves adjustable
- Base: round solid wood legs or a curved steel frame
