Story

A Stool for the Bar

Wegner designed the CH56 in 1985. Carl Hansen & Søn says it creates a welcoming atmosphere in the kitchen, the bar or a restaurant, and that it is designed to stand next to a bar.

Legs and Ring

The manufacturer points to the legs, thickest at the joint with the stainless steel ring and narrowing towards the floor and the seat, as typical of Wegner. The ring holds the four legs together and gives the feet a rest.
