Story
Designed in 1957
Carl Hansen & Søn describes the CH33 as a light, sculptured chair based on ideas and shapes typical of Hans J. Wegner's best designs. It was designed in 1957 for the company, which manufactured it for ten years.
Resumed in 2012
After a break of about 45 years the chair went back into production in 2012. The manufacturer presents it as at least as relevant today as it was more than half a century ago, and says its vibrant wooden construction lends itself to modern interiors.
