Overview
Carmen is a square ottoman available in two sizes. Its defining surface is woven cowhide arranged in a herringbone pattern, giving the simple volume a pronounced texture.
Construction
A solid-wood structure is padded with polyurethane foam and Dacron. The base is metal with six listed finish treatments and thermoplastic tips beneath. The woven cowhide upholstery is offered in seven manufacturer colours.
Story
Pattern over volume
Flexform's Design Center created Carmen in 2015. The design keeps the overall shape square and places the visual emphasis on the woven surface.
