Story
A folding chair, reinterpreted
Flexform's page calls Carlotta the archetypical folding chair, brought into a contemporary vein with a light hand and a pitch-perfect marriage of sophisticated materials, metal and cowhide. The joint screws stay clearly visible on the metal structure, which the page says emphasises the austere, unornamented design that sets the armchair apart.
In yachts
Three Flexform yacht projects name Carlotta: it is chosen for cabins and lounge areas of the 106 m M/Y Dream and for the main deck and cabins of the Sanlorenzo SD112, and the Sanlorenzo SL 118 selection includes the footstool.
