Description

Circular outdoor sofa

Canasta translates a geometric pattern associated with Vienna straw into large-scale woven ribbons. The circular sofa uses polyethylene fibre over an aluminium frame protected with polyester powder paint.

Cushions and canopy

The seat cushion uses shaped polyurethane with water-repellent polyester fibre. CN160P1C adds a glass-fibre canopy frame and fabric cover operated with electro-polished steel and anodised aluminium parts.

With the canopy raised, the official drawing gives 180 × 186 × 140 cm.

Story

Enlarged woven geometry

B&B Italia identifies Vienna straw as the source for Canasta's geometric pattern. The manufacturer enlarges that motif into the open weave surrounding the circular seat and its canopy-equipped variation.
