Description
Overview
Campus is a stackable chair by Johannes Foersom & Peter Hiort-Lorenzen for Lammhults, launched in 1992. It is available as a chair and an armchair, with four legs or a sled base, and suits conference, office, institutional and residential settings.
Construction

Seat and back are veneer in natural ash, oak or walnut (stained ash on request), or the chair can have an upholstered seat or be fully upholstered in fabric or leather. Campus stacks, links and moves on its own trolley.

Story
A Brief for Volume Seating
Campus was launched in 1992 and became an instant success. The designers were asked for a functional, affordable chair that could be used in large numbers on the international contract market. In Lammhults' words, the focus was always on the requirements of places where a lot of chairs are needed in the same room.
That Little Chair
Johannes Foersom calls Campus "that little chair". Lammhults credits it with helping the company become more international: it has been a success in Sweden and abroad, has received several awards, and is still offered today alongside Campus Air, with re:Cover removable upholstery to refresh existing chairs.
