Overview
Antonio Citterio designed the Camargue outdoor dining armchair in 2022. Its aluminum structure has rounded corners, and a soft seat cushion with removable upholstery sits on it.
Construction
The structure is aluminum with a smooth epoxy powder-coat or an embossed lacquered finish. In the seat cushion, a crushproof single-density insert goes with polyester fiber; water-repellent fabric is the upholstery. The feet stand on thermoplastic tips.
Specifications
- 56 x 60 x 78 cm (code 02A6B1)
- Frame finishes: 13
- Seat cushion upholstery: removable fabric
Story
Aluminum for open-air use
Aluminum is the material of the Camargue structures, and it is extremely weather-resistant. Camargue pieces suit a covered terrace as well as a garden or a pool surround.
Soft shapes, crafted
The seating elements are practical and lightweight, and their structure shows enveloping lines and rounded corners; this looks simple but takes expert artisan skills. The colors of the powder-coat and embossed finishes pair with the removable upholstery of the soft seat and backrest cushions.
