Description
Overview
The Calipso Cord ottoman is a 2024 outdoor piece by Antonio Citterio for Flexform. Its character comes from an eloquent contrast between a minimalist structure in epoxy powder-coated metal and a seat in hand-woven polypropylene cord.
Construction
Tubular stainless steel makes the structure, powder-coated with epoxy in embossed colours, and thermoplastic tips sit under the feet. The seat is hand-woven polypropylene cord, in an array of colours. The materials are chosen for lasting durability and weather resistance.
