Overview
Cage is a side table by Gordon Guillaumier for Tacchini that combines minimalism and timeless elegance in various shapes, sizes and materials.
Construction
A three-legged metal base works both as the support and as a frame for the round top. The top is offered in marble or mirror, set on a steel base that is either color-coated or polished.

100 x 100 x 32 cm (W x D x H), round top. Eight base finishes and six top finishes are listed.

Functionality and refinement
Cage represents the perfect blend of functionality and refinement that characterises all of Gordon Guillaumier's works. Its three-legged metal base is at once the support and the frame of a precious top.
A cultural concept in an industrial process
Guillaumier states: "For me, design is culture. It means introducing a cultural concept into an industrial process." Cage applies that approach to a small table, with a three-legged metal base carrying a top in marble or mirror, in six top finishes and eight base finishes.
