Cabaré Coffee Table

Overview

Cabaré is a 2017 side table by Flexform's own Design center. Its compact circular frame carries two stacked surfaces, giving the piece storage and serving functions within one footprint.

Construction

Three timber species are published for the solid frame. Both metal tops are clad in cowhide; the lower level provides a second shelf, while the upper level incorporates the removable metal tray that gives Cabaré its name.

A name tied to its function

The removable upper tray is central to Cabaré's identity. Flexform explicitly connects the table's name to that element, which can be lifted from the upper surface while a second level remains below.

Compact organization

A circular solid-wood structure contains the two stacked tops without enlarging the plan. The lower tier is described as a place for books or magazines, while the tray adds a distinct movable component above it.
