Overview
Brig is an ottoman designed to place the expressive character of solid wood at the centre of the object. Flexform describes the lines as pure and finely crafted.
Construction
The open frame is made in solid Canaletto walnut, ash or oak, each with its stated finish options. A hide-leather seat spans the frame and contains a polyurethane foam insert. Thermoplastic pads sit beneath the wood structure.
Story
Wood as the starting point
Antonio Citterio designed Brig in 2016. The official page says the project began with a desire to use the warmth and vibrancy of wood, leading to a frame that remains visibly continuous around the seat.

Seat palette
Flexform specifies ten hide-leather colours for the fitted seat. The technical sheet lists one model code and one set of dimensions.
