Overview
Big Sofa was designed by BIG and introduced in 2022. Cappellini describes monumental volumes and essential lines as an architectural approach to upholstered furniture.
Construction
The structure uses wood conglomerate and plywood. Multi-density polyurethane foam fills the body, while the fixed cover can be ordered in Cappellini textile and leather options. The base is matte black lacquered plywood.
Specifications
The PBS1 configuration measures 240 × 100 × 71 cm. A compact armchair and bench are listed separately as later additions to the project.
