Description
Overview
Bangkok is a rectangular ottoman with rounded edges, available in two sizes. Flexform describes it as a practical accessory intended to move between different rooms and seating arrangements.
Construction
Foam cushioning surrounds the solid-wood and metal core, with laminated fabric acting as protection. Metal feet rest on thermoplastic pads. Standard fabric and leather covers are removable, while the woven cowhide and suede versions use fixed upholstery.
Story
Two proportions
Flexform introduced Bangkok in 2008 through its Design Center. The technical drawing prints 60, 50 and 34 cm for the compact format, and 120, 120 and 34 cm for the larger version; each is also shown with fixed woven-hide upholstery.
