Description

Overview

Alice Rosignoli designed the Bambu Floor standard lamp for Ligne Roset. The lamp evokes a vase containing bamboo stems; the stems are in reality 3 adjustable light rods made of LED ribbon.

Construction

The vase and the "bamboos" are epoxy anthracite lacquered steel. The rods are mounted on a ball joint, so they can be tilted within the limit of what the opening of the vase allows, and can be rotated 330° to point towards the wall for indirect lighting. Each rod ends in a 36 cm rigid LED strip rated 9 W and 1040 lumens at 3000 K (warm white); the three together draw 27 W for 3120 lumens. The cable is black PVC, and a black foot push switch/dimmer sets the intensity.

Specifications

Overall size: Ø 20 x H 178 cm. Weight: 4.2 kg.
