Overview
Atelier Chair was designed by TAF Studio in 2018 for the restaurant at Stockholm's Nationalmuseum. It is a compact, lightweight wooden side chair that stacks seven high. Artek also offers row connectors for grouped seating.

Construction
The frame and back are solid beech, ash or oak. The plywood seat carries a matching wood veneer. Felt and plastic glides are listed in the brochure.

ストーリー
A museum commission
Atelier Chair began as a commission for the new restaurant at Sweden's Nationalmuseum, part of an initiative to foster contemporary Nordic design. Artek says the restaurant evokes an artist's atelier.

Practical in groups
The chair's slender proportions and stackable frame allow it to stand alone or be used in larger groups. Artek also offers row connectors on request for organised auditorium layouts.
